The Uni-chopper is a two-shaft shredder in the same construction as the progressing cavity pumps. Suitable for shredding large lumps such as meat, fish & vegetables etc.

Effective control of the grinder is essential to achieve the optimal result without downtime. BÖRGER reversal controls are developed based on many years of experience in virtually all process types. Controls are available as complete assemblies in stainless steel control cabinets, or as built-in modules to integrate into an overarching control panel.

Maintaining a stable flow and protecting the pump is essential when pumping difficult media with large amounts of fibers and similar. The solution is to install a SYDEX Defender on the pump's suction side. The Defender breaks down the particles to a size that the pump can handle without problems, reducing the risk of blockages and breakdowns.

The Multichopper is highly effective for shredding long fibers and particles that can cause issues in the process. Problems with fibers wrapping around shafts and clogging heat exchangers, etc. are effectively eliminated with the Multichopper. The machine is available in 3 sizes in cast iron and stainless steel respectively.

Compact grinder without stone trap. Ideal for grinding e.g. fish waste or sludge/wastewater from municipal treatment plants. Available in cast iron or stainless steel.

The rotary chopper handles very difficult tasks where other types of shredders may give up - suitable for shredding long fibers and large particles. Depending on the application, the machine can be configured with or without a stone trap.
