FM Series - Compact design eccentric screw pump
FM-S & FM-C series are compact design eccentric screw pumps, without cardan joint. The pump is most often used where compact installation dimensions and low weight are required. COMPACT & SERVICE-FRIENDLY DESIGN
Floating suspended stator
The stator is floating suspended and moves up and down as the rotor rotates. This eliminates the need for a drive shaft and saves space. Additionally, this design provides a very service-friendly design and reduces costs compared to conventional eccentric screw pumps.
Single mechanical seal
The FM series comes standard with single mechanical shaft seals with hard metal sealing faces in durable and corrosion-resistant silicon carbide.
Simple Maintenance
The rotor is connected to the drive shaft with a maintenance-free coupling. There are no universal joints that need lubrication and maintenance. The stator can be replaced in a few minutes.
In-house production of stators
SYDEX produces all stators in-house, ensuring maximum flexibility and quality. The stators are available in standard NBR – EPDM – Hypalon – Viton.
Hardened rotors
Precision-turned vacuum hardened rotors in a variety of alloys ensure exceptional long life. As an option, the rotors can also be supplied with hard chrome wear protection.
