Rotary Chopper - Robust Single-Shaft Shredder
The rotary chopper can handle very difficult tasks where other types of shredders must give up - suitable for shredding long fibers and large particles. Depending on the application, the machine can be configured with or without a stone trap.OperationThe media with particles and fibers is guided through the inclined stationary knives. The particles/fibers are caught by the stationary knives and efficiently shredded by the rotating knives.
Technical structure
- Quick-release cover- The cover on the Rotor Chopper provides quick access to all product-contacting parts.
- Blade holder and counter blades- Robust blades and counter blades are mounted in alternating order. The fixed counter knives are fastened. Blades and counter knives can be reversed to use both sides.
- Waste collector- When extracting hard solid substances, the blade rotates and forces the solid substances that cannot be disintegrated into the waste collector.
- Disintegrator housing- The housing is made in one piece of gray cast iron or stainless steel.
- Drive- There are three versions of drive models: Helical gear motor with parallel shaft, hydraulic motor, bearing holder with free drive shaft end.

With a 16-liter stone trap, suitable for media with low viscosity/dry matter content as well as a limited amount of foreign objects.
