Peristaltic pumps - also known as hose pumps - are highly suitable for pumping a wide range of media with high dosing accuracy and are considered true problem solvers.
With its simple and robust construction, it is an ideal pumping solution for applications where media that can be abrasive, viscous, and particle-laden need to be pumped.
Since the only wearing part in the pump is the hose, using a hose pump results in minimal maintenance and low operating costs.
Furthermore, the hose pump is effective for tasks that require priming, as they can provide up to 90% vacuum and can handle pumping air-entrained products without issues related to dry running, since they do not have a mechanical seal.
The hose pump is also utilized in the food industry, and the hoses are naturally delivered with EC1935/2004 approval.
The innovative design with a vertical motor reduces the installation dimensions by up to 70% and isolates the pump housing from the gear motor so that the heat from the gear motor is not transferred to the hose.A bearing located directly under the hose eliminates problems with radial forces and ensures a long lifespan. Eliminating shaft deflection significantly increases the pump's lifespan and reduces energy consumption.
Thanks to the flexible motor adapter, the pump can be mounted with standard gear motors. The adapter also ensures that any leaks cannot enter the gear motor.
The hose is quickly and securely mounted using the stainless steel adapter. The pump can also be supplied with hygienic connections such as SMS union, DIN 11851, and Tri-clamp 32676 as an option.
If the pump is used for aggressive media where stainless steel is not resistant, the pump is supplied with quick-replaceable liners in PP or PVDF.
The Dura series delivers more per cycle than other peristaltic pumps.
The high capacity, combined with hoses that can withstand up to 15 million compressions, ensures extra long life.
