Gentle and powerful self-priming

Vane pumps are suitable for viscous fluids. The pumps are typically used in the food industry, detergents, or chemical industries. Vane pumps are powerfully self-priming up to 6 meters, even at low speeds. The Liverani pumps can handle fluids up to 50,000 cP.

Acid-resistant and highly flexible

The pumps come standard with a pump body in acid-resistant stainless steel. The pump body can be equipped with various types of connections, including all common thread types and sanitary types. Impellers and seals are tailored to the specific fluid. The impellers are available in the following elastomers:

• NR (natural rubber) – high abrasion resistance.
• CR (neoprene) – moderate abrasion resistance and durability.
• NBR (nitrile) – suitable for oil products.
• EPDM – suitable for hot and aggressive fluids.
• Silicone – best for high temperatures, but limited abrasion resistance.

Liverani vane pumps can handle even very viscous fluids containing particles. They prime very effectively, even without filling the pump body. Vane pumps are therefore particularly suitable as portable bilge pumps or similar applications where many operating hours are not required.
