SYDEX Biogas mixer pump
The SYDEX LG BIO series is designed for pumping solid biomass into a fermenter. The biomass is augured in from the side or dropped in from above, then augured into the mixing chamber where it is mixed with slurry. Large service doors for inspection of the universal joint and two-part stators ensure easy and quick servicing.

Heavy duty design in every detail
The LG BIO pump is designed for extremely challenging media. The large rotor and stator diameter provides a very large free passage through the pump allowing even difficult biomasses to pass. Hardox auger flights with large thickness and heavy duty universal joints with protective covers ensure long life, even with abrasive biomasses.Capacities:up to approx. 130 m³/hPressure:up to 12 bar differential pressureMaterials:The pump is standardly made of stainless steel with hardened rotor and universal joint.
Single mechanical seal
The LG BIO series comes standard with single mechanical shaft seals with encapsulated spring and hard metal sealing faces made of durable and corrosion-resistant silicon carbide.
Customized Solutions
The pump can be tailored to the customer's specific requirements. Dimensions and locations of inlet and outlet connections as well as screw connections, etc. can be customized to the particular installation.
In-house production of stators
SYDEX manufactures all stators in-house. This ensures the highest degree of flexibility and quality. The stators are delivered in standard NBR - EPDM - Hypalon - Viton.
Durable vacuum hardened rotor
Precision-turned vacuum hardened rotors provide exceptional long lifespan. As an option, the rotor can be supplied with extra hard chrome wear protection.
