G Series - with enlarged feed screw
The G series is designed for extremely viscous media that may tend to bridge.Suitable for pumping dewatered sludge from decanters, belt presses, screw presses, chamber filter presses, or other viscous media. The series is available in a variety of materials such as cast iron, stainless steel AISI 304 and 316, or Duplex (SAF 2205) where required for challenging applications.
Avoid bridging
The diameter of the feed screw ensures that no bridging occurs above the screw. The inlet opening is adapted, for example, to the belt width of a belt press or the outlet of a decanter. Large diameter of feed screw eliminates bridging!
Suitable for viscous fluids
Due to the large diameter of the feed screw, the sides of the casing are vertical. This prevents the medium from getting stuck and bridging. In the cylindrical section, the medium is forced into the pump element. The pump can therefore handle extremely viscous and sticky fluids.
Unique abrasion-resistant universal joints
The G series comes standard with the unique 4-pin universal joints with a 2-year warranty. The screw threads are extended over the universal joints for extra secure transportation. Complete assembled and oil-filled universal joints are available from stock for quick and easy service.
In-house production of stators
SYDEX produces all stators in-house, ensuring maximum flexibility and quality. The stators are supplied in standard NBR - EPDM - Hypalon - Viton.
Hardened rotors
Precision-turned vacuum hardened rotors in a variety of alloys ensure exceptional long lifespan. Additionally, the rotors can be supplied with hard chrome wear protection as an option.
Quick maintenance
The SyQuick pump is the ideal solution for quick maintenance without the need to disconnect the pipes, which is especially advantageous when installation space is limited.
