SELF-PRIMING IMPELLER PUMP IN COMPACT DESIGN
VMA series
Volumetric self-priming impeller pump in a compact design. Highly suitable for emptying IBC containers, tanks, and similar applications where a light and self-priming pump is needed. The pump is reversible and can handle suction up to 4 meters depth.The pumps are constructed in plastic materials and have a low weight. Thick walls ensure a robust pump with high operational reliability.
Material Combinations
The series is produced in PP-PVDF or PVC thermoplastics with gaskets and impellers in EPDM or FPM. The material combinations make them suitable for pumping acids and bases with low to medium viscosity.

Technical Design and Benefits
- Pump housing in extra thick PP, PVDF or PVC.
- Rotor in PTFE, separated from the hub.
- Front cover in PP, PVDF or PVC,closes the pump housing completely.
- Cylindrical rotor in PP, PVDF or PVC.Design fixes the flexible impeller blades.
- Pressure plate in Al2O3, fixes the rotor with the flexibleblades axially.
- Flexible blades in (EPDM) mounted in tracks in the rotor. The blades can be individually replaced if a single blade is damaged.
- Liner in extra thick PTFE, protects the pump housing.
- An Al2O3 bushing protects the shaft from media contact.
- Back seal ring, mounted in pairs and supports the lip seal in EPDM or FPM.
- Intermediate flangein strongthermoplastic.
- Balanced shaft in 42CrMo4, designed to absorb torque as well asaxial and radial loads.
- Three-phase asynchronous motor (also available with single-phase motor) according to IEC standard (NEMA upon request). Also available with integrated frequency converter.
- Base frame in stainless steel AISI 316.
