VGA series
Volumetric self-priming impeller pump with bearing bracket. Highly suitable for emptying IBC containers, tanks, and similar applications where a lightweight and self-priming pump is needed. The pump is reversible and can handle suction depths up to 4 meters.The pumps are constructed from plastic materials, ensuring low weight and high robustness. Thick materials guarantee a reliable pump with high operational safety.
Material Combinations
The series is produced in PP-PVDF or PVC thermoplastics with gaskets and impellers made of EPDM or FPM. The material combinations make them suitable for pumping acids and bases with low to medium viscosity.

Technical Design and Benefits
- Pump housing in extra thick PP, PVDF or PVC.
- Rotor in PTFE, separated from the hub.
- Front cover in PP, PVDF or PVC, completely sealing the pump housing.
- Cylindrical rotor in PP, PVDF or PVC. Design secures the flexible impeller blades.
- Thrust disk in Al2O3, securing the rotor with the flexible blades axially.
- Flexible blades in (EPDM) mounted in grooves in the rotor. Blades can be individually replaced if one blade gets damaged.
- Liner in extra thick PTFE, protecting the pump housing.
- An Al2O3 bushing protects the shaft from contact with the media.
- Back sealing ring, mounted in pairs and supporting the lip seal in EPDM or FPM.
- Intermediate flange in heavy-duty thermoplastic.
- Balanced shaft in 42CrMo4, designed to absorb torque as well as axial & radial forces.
- Heavy-duty ball bearing, designed for heavy axial and radial loads.
- Heavy-duty bearing bracket in cast aluminium.
- Back double angular contact bearing.
