MMB-N SERIES
The MMB-N series is a range of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps inthermoplastics. The series is ideal for applications where traditional pumps with shaft seals may pose issues,and where increased safety with a 100% leak-proof pump is desired.The magnetically coupled design, where motor power is transmitted to the impeller using a magnet, eliminates the risk of leaks due to worn or defective shaft seals.The pump casing is constructed with extra thickness to achieve added strength and operational reliability.
Material Combinations
With a pump casing in PP or PVDF and gaskets in EPDM-FPM-FEP or FFKM, the MMB-N series is highly suitable for pumping strong acids and bases. The series is typically supplied with partially open impellers, but can also be supplied with closed impellers for clean or hot fluids.

Technical Structure and Advantages
- Pump casing in extra strong PP or PVDF, machined for size 65-125 and 65-160. Models 25-125, 32-125, 40-130, 40-160, and 50-160 have precision-cast pump casings
- Impeller in PP or PVDF; partially open design for particle-laden fluids and closed impeller for clean fluids. Axially balanced impeller with vanes on the back
- Rotor in PP or PVDF with central hole for lubrication of the rear bushing and for impeller balancing. Fully encapsulated magnets in thermoplastic for maximum protection
- Guide bushing in PTFE CG (SiC upon request), rotates with the rotor
- External magnetic core rotates with the motor and transfers torque to the rotor.Loose flanges in glass fiber reinforced PP, reinforced with metal core
- Loose flanges in glass fiber reinforced PP, surrounding a steel core
- Robust intermediate flange in G25 and base mounting
- Static guide bushings in SiC (Al2O3 upon request)
- Three-phase asynchronous motor according to IEC (NEMA upon request)
