CGV-N SERIES
The vertical CGV-N series is designed with high performance and reliability in mind. The compact construction with large material thicknesses provides an extremely strong and reliable pump that is also very easy to handle.
Material Combinations
With media-contacting parts in (PP, PVDF, PE-UHMW) and O-rings in (EPDM, FPM, FEP, FFKM), the pump is suitable for pumping acidic and alkaline media. The pump shaft is connected to the motor with an elastic coupling with an internal ball bearing and is guided by a PTFE CG and Al2O3 (aluminum) bushing or optionally in SiC/SiC.

Construction
- Pump casing in extra thick PP, PVDF or PE-UHMW for sizes 25-125, 32-125, 40-130 & 40-160. Size 50-160 only in PP or PVDF
- Impeller in PP or PVDF; partial open version for particle-laden fluids or closed impeller for clean fluids and high-temperature applications
- Static guide bushing in PTFE CG (SiC upon request)
- Rotating guide bushing in Al2O3 (SiC upon request)
- Discharge pipe in thermoplastic
- Entire column made of thermoplastic material
- Extra thick PP plate
- Balanced shaft in 42CrMo4 carbon steel. Machined from one piece and completely coated with thermoplastic
- Intermediate flange in aluminum, includes bearings and the elastic coupling, distancing the motor from the rest of the pump
- Elastic coupling that absorbs axial inaccuracies and allows motor servicing without removing the pump
- Steel bell housing with two robust radial ball bearings that guide the shaft
- Three-phase asynchronous motor, in accordance with IEC (NEMA upon request)

Elastomer bellows seals
Mechanical shaft seals for mildly aggressive, clean, and non-particularly hot fluids. Static and rotating rings in SiC, springs and holder in SS316 not in contact with the fluid, elastomers in EPDM or FPM. Available as external type (B6E-B6EC), internal (B6I - B6IC - B6IH), or double mechanical type (B6EDF - B6EDFC).
PTFE bellows seals
Mechanical shaft seals for highly aggressive media and high temperatures. Static and rotating rings in three different material combinations (SiC-SiC, SiC-Al2O3, Al2O3-PTFE-C), PTFE bellows, springs, and holder in SS316 (non-contacting). Available as external type (JRS - JRS1 - JRA) or double mechanical type (JR2S - JR2S1 - JT2P - JR2A).
Sealing with O-ring in elastomer
Mechanical shaft seal for moderately aggressive, clean, and non-extremely hot fluids. Static and rotating rings in two different combinations (SiC-SiC, Carbon-graphite-SiC), spring and retainer in Hastelloy C276, O-ring in EPDM or FKM. Available as an internal type (UMG – UMS) or double mechanical type (UM2G – UM2S).
