The VPCP series is specially designed for gentle transportation of vegetables, mussels, shrimp, etc. Due to its extremely large free passage, no sharp edges, and low speed, it guarantees an extremely gentle transport of the product.

The VPCP series minimizes product damage

The VPCP series is specially designed for gentle pumping of potatoes and vegetables, etc., but also various seafood such as blue mussels and shrimp.The traditional impeller has been replaced by a specially developed runner. Studies have shown that by eliminating the channel geometry, product damage is minimal over a much larger area of the pump curve (flow and speed). A typical single-channel impeller shows low product damage in a small zone around the BEP (Best Efficiency Point) on the pump curve.The VPCP series can be used in frying lines, for transportation of vegetables in blanching processes as well as transportation of pasta from pasta cookers.Tests show that the VPCP series reduces product damage by a minimum of 50% compared to conventional pumps.
