Packo MSCP series

Both the pump casing, impeller, and lantern with bearing of this pump are made of electro-polished precision-cast stainless steel AISI 316L. This provides an extremely robust and reliable pump with a very fine surface.

Typical applications

This self-priming side channel pump is suitable for demanding applications where air needs to be evacuated through long pressure lines with high back pressure. The MSCP series has exceptional suction capacity and air handling capability. It is able to completely empty the suction line, even with foaming and slightly viscous media. It is often used for emptying tank trucks and pumping to high silos.

MSCP - Technical design and benefits

Standard IEC standard motors (4-pole)
Pump outlet directly above the shaft seal. The shaft seal is effectively flushed by the medium with a perfectly cleaned shaft sealing chamber as a result.
No dead pockets around the impeller bolt.
The pump housing is designed to efficiently prime the pump at each new start-up.
Connecting ring on the outside of the blades.
Impeller with profiled blades (option) provides extraordinary suction capability and air handling as well as low NPSH value.
FDA & EC1935/2004 approved mechanical shaft seal according to EN 12756 Different shaft seal types available as an option.
