The IMXL pumps are long shafted centrifugal pumps with construction lengths of up to 1500 mm. The pump is designed for installation in a well or inside the tank, with only the motor located outside the media. Due to the absence of mechanical shaft seals, the pumps are highly reliable and easy to maintain.Thanks to the robust electropolished design, it can be used for a wide range of applications. The series is available in NP, ICP, MCP, IFF, and MFF versions with open, semi-open, closed, or vortex impellers.

Typical applications

The IMXL series is often used for media that are problematic for mechanical shaft seals. Typical applications include surface treatment, industrial spray wash applications, and water treatment. They handle degassing liquids, pickling & phosphating liquids, sludge, hot oil, industrial process water, aggressive media, condensate, and more.

Technical design and advantages

Monoblock design with IEC standard motors.
Tapered shaft, fully machined.
Support tube with high strength. Rigidity maintains alignment between motor and pump. Protects pump shaft.
Reduced downtime and operating costs. No bushings, no oil or water piping required to lubricate these bearings.
Replaceable 'labyrinth' bushing reduces backflow around the shaft. As an option, the shaft can be protected from wear by pumping abrasive media.
Option: Stainless steel baseplate and discharge pipe.
