IML can be installed in a well or tank

IML are long shaft centrifugal pumps with construction lengths of up to 500 mm. The pump is designed for installation in a well or inside the tank, so only the motor is outside the medium. Since the pumps are without mechanical shaft sealing, they are extremely reliable and easy to maintain.Thanks to the solid electropolished design, it can be used for most applications. The series is available in NP, ICP, MCP, IFF, and MFF versions with open, semi-open, closed, or vortex impellers.

Typical applications

The IML series is often used for media that are problematic for mechanical shaft seals. Typical applications include surface treatment, industrial spray wash applications, and water treatment. They handle degassing liquids, pickling & phosphating liquids, slurry, hot oil, industrial process water, aggressive media, condensate, etc.

Technical design and advantages

  1. Monobloc construction with IEC standard motors
  2. Tapered shaft, fully machined
  3. Support tube with high strength. Rigidity maintains alignment between motor and pump. Protects pump shaft.
  4. Reduced downtime and operating costs. No bearing bracket, no oil or water pipes required to lubricate these bearings.
  5. Replaceable 'labyrinth' bushing reduces backflow around the shaft. Alternatively, the shaft can be protected from wear when pumping abrasive media.
  6. Option: Stainless steel base plate and discharge pipe
