Packo FP3 - 15 bar & high efficiency

The FP3 series are EHEDG certified sanitary centrifugal pumps with closed 3-dimensional impellers and pump casing in cold-rolled non-porous stainless steel AISI 316L.The FP3 series can handle pressures up to 15 bar. Thanks to the cleanable design without dead ends and narrow passages, as well as very smooth electropolished surfaces, the pump is the ideal choice for processes where high demands on hygiene and operational reliability are required.

Typical applications

Packo's EHEDG certified pump is used for the most demanding tasks where extra high requirements for cleanability and operational reliability are essential. The FP3 series is the ideal pump for filtration, pasteurization, evaporation processes, etc. in the food industry as well as for applications in breweries and distilleries.In the pharmaceutical industry and biotech applications, it is primarily used for demineralized water and as a CIP return pump.

Technical Specifications for FP3 series

Electropolished hygienic design without dead pockets that can be difficult to clean.
Pump casing in cold-rolled sheet in 2B quality with extremely smooth surfaces.
Large seal chamber ensures effective cleaning of the shaft seal.
Block pump with standard IEC standard motors.
Standardized shaft seal according to EN 12756 (EC1935/FDA approved) – bellows seal or sterile O-ring – the spring is not in contact with the media.
Two shaft seal diameters for the entire series: – motor sizes ≤ 45 kW: Ø 43 mm – motor sizes > 45 kW: Ø 70 mm
