The BMS 1500 mill is designed with serviceability and operating costs in mind. Replaceable cutting edges on the hammers and easy replacements minimize costs for wear parts.

Capacities up to 15 tons/hour

TIETJEN hammer mills are suitable for almost all types of biomasses. The degree of shredding can be easily and quickly adapted to the individual biomasses. For maximum flexibility, the hammers can be mounted in two levels. The machine is available with motor sizes from 75 to 132 kW for capacities up to 15 t/h.

1. Rotor

The machine is built with a powerful high-speed rotor, equipped with up to 6 replaceable hammers. A large specially hardened top plate with hard metal welded on ensures that the biomass is directed towards the hammers.

2. Hammers

The hammers are designed to achieve optimal shredding with minimal power consumption. Replaceable cutting edges minimize costs.

3. Easy servicing

The large service hatch provides excellent access for inspection and servicing.

4. Automatic lubrication system

The machine comes standard with an automatic grease lubrication system ensuring that bearings and transmission always work under optimal conditions.

5. Magnet system removes foreign objects

The hammer mill is prepared for the installation of a magnet system that effectively removes metal parts.
