The BMS 1200 mill is designed with serviceability and operating costs in mind. Replaceable wear tips on the hammers minimize costs for wear parts.

Capacities up to 10 tons/hour

TIETJEN hammer mills are suitable for almost all types of biomass. The degree of shredding can be easily and quickly adapted to the individual biomasses. To achieve the greatest flexibility, the hammers can be mounted in two levels. The machine is available with motor sizes from 55 to 90 kW for capacities up to 10 t/h.

Large Service Hatch

The extra large service hatch provides ideal access conditions for maintenance. The rotor can be lifted out from the side without dismantling the top.

  1. Rotors The machine is built with a powerful high-speed rotor, equipped with up to 6 replaceable hammers. A large specially hardened top plate with hard metal welded on ensures that the biomass is directed to the hammers.
  2. Hammers The hammers are designed to achieve optimal shredding with minimal power consumption. Replaceable cutting edges minimize costs.
  3. Easy maintenance The large service hatch provides excellent access for inspection and maintenance.
  4. Automatic lubrication system The machine comes standard with an automatic grease lubrication system that ensures bearings and transmission always operate under optimal conditions.
  5. Magnetic system removes foreign objects The hammer mill is prepared for the installation of a magnetic system that effectively removes metal parts.
